...Break...

So last night my group got together to do dry breaks. It was loud, destructive, messy! Andrew threw things against walls, I click the shutter and Alexis controlled the lights. I must say I was kind of skeptical of this assignment, I can't exactly place why...maybe because I didn't really have any good ideas or I am somewhat burnt out now that it's week six. But I just got done editing a couple and thought I'd post them for everyone to see...i think things turned out better than I planned...or else week six is taking a toll on my better judgment :)

...Splash...

So the next series of pictures we do are splashes. These are achieved by pulling a cart with our glasses on top against a blocker while simultaneously flashing the strobes. The first day my group had studio...we had an unfortunate event. Well first one of our group members couldn't make it, so it was down to two of us, me and Alexis. We successfully got through Alexis's splashes and pours...and all of a sudden there was blood. Alexis had cut her palm open with broken glass!! We got her to the hospital to get stitched up...and when we returned to school they had cleaned everything up for us!! How nice of them :)

So then I returned last night ready to go...and brought along Stephen (my wonderful boyfriend) to help me! Finally getting my splashes done...wooohoooooo...and now i am presenting them to you:
